Cabin Assignment & Sleeping Arrangements
Updated November 2001
Welcome to NERO ®, we are glad you're here! NERO ® Avendale Announcement
pertaining to Sleep Accommodations
This written policy was created to explain to everyone how we try to place everyone in bed
spaces at our events. We are not using this policy to show favoritism to groups, or
friends, in any way.
We have seen lot of NERO ® members from CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, NJ, PA, RI, and VT
at our events lately, and we have been filling up the bed spaces in almost every
cabin.
At Avendale, there is currently a maximum limit of 150 players and 50 Staff/NPC's at each
event. If this occurs, people will need to remain at local friends houses, Hotels, in
Tents, or on the floor in the tavern or Monster Camp.
There are 16 Cabins with a maximum of 120 Bed Spaces. We have 30 NPC's/Staff members who
sleep in beds, leaving 90 beds available for players. Our typical game in year 2001 has
been 90 players and 30 NPC's.
Each Event we get 20 dedicated Players who NPC a 4 hour shift. For a staff member running
plot lines there is no better feeling than having our players come and volunteer to NPC.
We thank all these players for their continued support.
Reserving Sleeping Accommodations
Avendale works in several ways for determining where people sleep. Our goal is
to fill every bed space.
1) NPC's are encouraged to notify the office immediately so that we may account for them
among the Staff/NPC bed spaces.
2) The Regency (Cabin 3) is populated with Her Majesties Court, both NPC and PC.
3) The Healers Guild (Cabin 4), the Mages Guild (cabin 6) and the Merchants Guild (Cabin
11 at Rivers Edge) will be populated with guild members, both NPC's and PC's.
4) Visitors from other NERO ® Chapters are placed in Cabin 7 and 8 on the center hill or
in Cabins 13 and 14 beyond the Rivers Edge.
5) The Newer Players (and visitors when necessary) are put in Cabins 9 & 10 at Rivers
Edge.
6) If you want to reserve an entire cabin for your team, you must pay for ¾ of the bed
spots to have the cabin and other beds held and you are responsible for the cost of all
the bed spaces within it.
7) Those who pay for their events are given appropriate sleeping accommodations at the
time of payment.
8) Those who have notified us of their intended attendance but have not submitted payment
are given appropriate sleeping accommodations after all others who have paid.
9) The walk-in customer - those who haven't informed us they are coming and arrive at the
door during check-in - are given appropriate sleeping accommodations after all others.
10) Anyone, who arrives without notifying us prior to his or her arrival, is not
guaranteed sleeping accommodations.
11) People who sleep within a tent will pay a reduced entry fee of $45.00 regardless if
they pre-pay or pay at the door.
12) People who sleep offsite will pay a reduced entry fee of $45.00 if they pre-pay, or
$55.00 if they pay at the door. People sleeping offsite will not be assigned a cabin.
Alternative Accommodations
1) Bring a tent! Everyone who likes to 'camp out' is encouraged to bring a tent.
If you own a tent and have the extra room, bring it in case your friend can use it.
2) Stay at a hotel. There are many quality hotels in the area, just 10 minutes from the
Campground.
3) Stay at a friend's house.
4) Players may stay in a cabin with their friends provided ALL others in the cabin do not
feel overcrowded.
Customers may submit payment via PAYPAL.COM by sending the funds to

Thank You
